NL Kids is the children's ministry of New Liberty Baptist Church

The four goals of this ministry are education, worship, evangelism and service, and our regularly scheduled activities emphasize these ministry goals. Come be a part our ministry as we are building lives on Christ.

Building a biblical foundation

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."

Proverbs 9:10

We focus on EDUCATION on Sunday mornings at 9:00am. Students are actively engaged in learning biblical truths and how these truths apply to their individual lives. Equally important, students are taught and practice using their Bibles independently. Our goal is for students to develop life-long skills and study habits in personal Bible study as they build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Developing a lifestyle of worship

"God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."

John 4:24

We focus on WORSHIP on Sunday mornings at 10:00am. Students worship in one of three chapels based on their current age. The chapel worship services are planned to keep students engaged in various worshipful activities such as singing, praying, giving, learning, and sharing. Our intent is to help our students develop a lifestyle of worship.

Learning to share my faith

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Romans 3:23

We focus on EVANGELISM - recognizing and sharing our need for salvation through Jesus Christ - on Sunday evenings at 5:00pm with the AWANA program. The AWANA curriculum focuses on memorizing Bible verses and applying these biblical truths to everyday life. Students are engaged in group lessons, fun games and independent Bible study. Our AWANA program follows the typical school-year calendar.

Helping others through service

"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another."

1 Peter 4:10

We focus on SERVICE on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm. During this time, students are involved in Bible studies and regularly participate in projects to help our church and our community in various ways. Our goal is for our students to continually serve others with their actions and through these actions to share Jesus Christ with others.
